This is the traditional spice box called anjanap petti. It contains seasonings like mustard, urad gram, bengal gram, red chilies dried, cumin, whole peppercorns and fenugreek.





This is the mould for idli or rice cakes steamed and served for breakfast.







This is the plate for steaming idiyappam or rice noodles served for breakfast.







This "acchu" or idiyappam press can be used for squeezing out idiyappam or rice noodles.
